5 Hotels for Foodies in Côte d’Ivoire

Whether you are a traveler, a foodie traveler or just a foodie wanting to enjoy new culinary experiences, here is my pick of 5 hotels in Côte d’Ivoire with delicious food options for Foodies. The beauty of it all, you don't need to be a hotel guest to access their restaurants.

Four of them are "Black owned businesses" and we are here for it !

1. Hôtel particulier

Let’s start with one of my favorites ! 10 years ago, Hotel Particulier became the first boutique hotel to open in Abidjan. Launched by a woman (I had to mention it, You know I am all about Women Empowerment), it’s an Ivorian owned business with a local cuisine with an international twist aiming at pleasing its guests. There is a special full-course lunch menu at 16 500 CFA Francs.

The restaurant is open from 7am to 9:30pm.

2. Lepic Villa

Lepic Villa is another boutique hotel located in Abidjan. It’s an  African owned and its Chef Tamsir Ndir is Senegalese. With his team, at “ La Maison du Gouverneur” (the name of the restaurant), they have what they called “Lunch Business Club” specials at 20 000 CFA Francs.

I recently tasted a hibiscus cheesecake there, it was to die for !

3. Boulay Beach Resort

Let’s leave Abidjan shall we ! Let’s hop on a boat for a bit of fresh air and cool vibes at Boulay beach resort. A black owned business that I absolutely love.

During the week, you can eat “A la carte" with food options relatively affordable (starting approximately at 10 000 CFA Francs) or you can enjoy the weekend party/packages for either their barbecue (meat, seafood etc.) at 50 000 CFA Francs or brunch at 70 000 CFA Francs.

4. Enotel Beach

Côte d’Ivoire is so much more than just Abidjan, Ile Boulay or Assinie. If you are looking for new adventures, you should definitely go to San Pedro (1 hour flight from Abidjan with Air Côte d'Ivoire or approximately 4 to 5 hours driving).

Enotel beach, one of the best hotels in that city, has 2 restaurants (👋🏾 Klaman beach) that will satisfy all your cravings. Cheffe Grace Houffouet and her team bring you a delicious take on Ivorian and Afro-fusion cuisine.

Prices "A la carte" start at 7000 CFA Francs & up !

5. La Maison Palmier

Last but definitely not least is La Maison Palmier ; One of the newest addition in the Hotels & Lodging sector. Part of the Design Hotels Group, La Maison Palmier has a sophisticated tropical scene that leaves anyone speechless.

With their lunch specials at 25 000 CFA Francs, you are treating yourself to delicate European flavors right here in the heart of the city.

If you are planning a trip to Côte d’Ivoire, let me know which one you would like to experience first !
