3 new restaurants in Abidjan

It’s been 3 months since I got back home in Côte d’Ivoire 🇨🇮 and I happily resumed one of my favourite activity: eating out in the new restaurants in Abidjan. Although there are more than 250 restaurants in the city, there are new ones opening and unfortunately other ones closing almost every month.

Here are the 3 new restaurants I have recently been to in Abidjan.

Le « Pêcheur » by Tuna & Co

Le « Pêcheur » by Tuna & Co opened in November 2018. This restaurant with a minimalist decor is your go-to place if you are in the mood for fish or seafood dishes. What I love about this restaurant is the fact that its menu is as simple as its decor. While the fish lovers should call for the tuna steak, the grouper salad or the tuna & grouper carpaccio, the seafood lovers can satisfy their appetite with the prawns & mango salad or griddled prawns (cooked “a la plancha “).

There is strong likelihood that Le « Pêcheur » by Tuna & Co might become one of my favourite restaurant in 2019. Time will tell 😉

Reservations are recommended.

Open every day from 12 to 3pm and 7 to 11:30pm.

French Paradox

French Paradox opened in April 2018. Since I wasn’t in Côte d’Ivoire when it opened and I only discovered it last week, I still consider it as one of the new restaurants in Abidjan. You will enjoy French Paradox if you are in the mood for a healthier French cuisine and good quality wine.

What I love about this restaurant is the the non-stop service – which is definitely a bonus considering that in Abidjan most restaurants are open up until 3pm for lunch and do not reopen before 7pm.

Boston Hill

Boston Hill opened in December 2018 and it’s undoubtedly one of the newest restaurant in Abidjan. What I love about Boston Hill is the fact that its facilities can welcome up to 400 people at once. Indeed, there are 17 pergolas, 30 gardens and a VIP seating area.

When it comes to food, Boston Hill doesn’t settle for one particular type of cuisine…instead it aims at offering an international variety of flavors and we couldn’t be happier.

Open every day from 11am to 2am
